In the video art diptych (Arachne / Cambio de piel), I move my gaze from the human dimension of living towards the space occupied by a spider that weaves its web and prepares to change its skin, and transforms into a new being.

The arachnid realm is a dimension in which temporal duration accentuates its vibrancy: the spider’s body is a bundle of needs and resources that produces the thread it weaves, upon which its life depends. This thread led Lorena Noblecilla into the heart of her creative process. Already immersed in it, the sculptural emerged in the form of a line in space, guiding her to an imaginary realm that required other possible materialities to give shape to a new vision. What led her to the center of the labyrinth allowed her to emerge enriched to forge a new path.
