Huaca Lingote

Huaca Lingote, 2017

Ingot-shaped bricks, metaphor of wealth and power. Representation of a huaca on a wooden support bathed in silver and bronze filled. The ingots and their voids create lines and geometric shapes that are associated with the design of the Inca mantles. The huaca is built from ingots that allude to the West but at the same time interconnect with geometry of the Inca loom. The territory is a metaphor of space and life, appears projecting a geometric “mantle” that indicates its invincible force.
